Battery Light flickering

Question Battery Light flickering
89 F150 300 straight six... Just got the truck about a month ago and the battery light flickers the whole time i'm driving. When I get up to about 2000 RPMs it stays on. I had the battery and alt tested and they both came back ok. I put new cables on the truck. Anybody got any suggestions???

Check the alternator plugs. One of my wires melted and this happened.
