Default Battery Light Bulb Socket

I am trying to find a bulb socket for my battery warning light that goes in the back of the instrument cluster. The thing is, this socket has a small resistor built in it and the lip that twists in the back of the cluster is a little thicker then the other ones so they won't fit in that socket.

I was going to post a pic, but now I can't find the darn socket. If I find it tommorow I will post a pic.

I have looked for it online, but can't seem it. Anyone know where I get or order one?

Thanks for any help!

Yes and No, it does look like those bulb sockets, but the one I need is hollowed out and has a resistor in it where you grab and twist it in the cluster. My is a faded, dirty whiteish color.

Maybe I can find it today so I can get a pic posted.

You can get the normal ones in the Help! section at the parts store so they might have that one too.

https://www.f150forum.com/attachment...lb-sockets.jpgSean! You might want to consider neutering those little puppy's before they start getting out of control! Petty soon, they'll be taking over the whole garage!

mine was missing from the harness when i got my truck used... some ******* cut it off... I had to re wire it. I got the colors matched, the harness comes out passenger side in back of engine by the valve cover, Wired 4 wires then I got an 02 connector at autozone for ford and no more check engine. Truck ran ok without it but in lim pp mode.
