Battery drain issue

Default Battery drain issue

ok so here my issue, over the last week i have replaced starter solenoid, cahanged to 2ga positive batt. cable, new ignition switch on colum, and the starter, all is great but i cant figue out why my battery keeps draining? typicaly overnight but i need to figure this out...maybe the ignition switch needs adjusted? if so..how?

make sure all of your accessories are turned off when you are done with your truck and when you start your truck make sure all of the accessories are off too.

Check your glove compartment light or under hood light and see if they are stuck on.

oh its a 89' 5.8 btw..and ill check those..but i doubt eiither of those are the problem

how olds your battery? that could be your problem...

My 88 did that, turned out it was the alt...

um battery is a couple years old..tried three different ones but they could be bad as well. Also i read somewhere that if the ignition switch isnt adjuste right it could cuse drain..my new one seems ok it just doest turn backward for acc.

Ignition switch on bottom of column might be out of alignment.
