3.08 without limited slip. I have a 2.47, which is miserable.

I'm hoping the previous owner regeared because i bought it with 35's and it doesnt feel like 3.08's. Tomorrows going to be nice, guess im climbing underneath and seeing the spin ratio.
If it was never regeared how bad is that for the rest of the drive train? i have the I6 with the m5 4x4

your engine would be fine, but you'll run thru clutches pretty good

3.08s would suck pretty bad with 35' tires. I went back to 235/75s for my 3.08s.

Well i have nothing to compare to so I dont know how much suckier or better it could be. It's pretty quick off the line, considering its a big ol truck, but i get pretty good mpg. Some evidence pointing each way, but tomorrow I'll find out the verdict.

I have 33s and 3.55s on mine and it does pretty good for a 300 inline 6.

Well I have 33's and my axle tag is a 2.47. I get around 16 mpg in town, and it actually has decent acceleration. Not great, but not noticeably miserable. I don't know if the guy regeared it or not. The only thing I notice is in 5th gear I can't really accelerate worth anything and lose speed even when flooring it going up slight hills.
