Default Air intake

Im lookin online in the K&N website, and this appears to be what to buy for a 1994 4.9 I6.

Does anyone have this on their truck? I want to make sure Im gonna buy the right thing for my truck!

Thanks!

you will be better of doing a drop in k&n filter then that thing it will just suck in all the hot air.

I did a new search and it gave me 4 things... This one, a square filter for stock intake, and then 2 oil filters.

Anyone know what i need for my truck? It doesnt look like the one above is the one i want

if that is the one that bolts in the box i don't see how different the intake would be from stock if it just replaces the box not worth it. for 50 bucks you can achieve the same thing besides it might mess with your map sensor. not 100% on that but 251 bucks can buy a pair of headers that will do more then an intake

so it just bolts in and the intake is under the fender? that is about the same restriction as the oem one but just cooler looking

there is one mod that will save you tons of cash and ad some extra um-pf

there is a intake that bolts right up to the top of the radiator support instead of beside it allowing for more colder air to pass through unrestricted i think they are on 1991 f150s with the 5.0 or something older its a quick and easy mod plus it will save you some cash and time.

Yeah i was lookin through other intakes on that site, but I dont really wanna do too much reorganizing under the hood!

Random thought...I wonder if a K&n filter would work in the box from the other brand... I bet it would

i bet it would you just might need to drill a hole for the little bracket but that would be over 400 bucks and you would be better of doing a drop in high flow and a header set
