Default additional features wanted

As a mechanical engineering student and a ford lover naturally i spend lots of time "tinkering" as some call it. This is a thread for people like me or if others dont use it just me haha. The idea behind it is that someone thinks of a feature they'd like to add to their trucks because it sounds convenient or their jealous all the new trucks have it. Then the more mechanically inclined can help us find a way to make it happen or brainstorm whether it can or cant be done.

I found this as a way to improve upon the heating and cooling switches in the cab and get some climate control:

auto down windows were a favorite of mine in one of my older trucks heres a how to:

Not really my thing but a cheap alternative way to give your headlights a modern look that doesnt cost $400:

I for one know when its winter i wish i had heated seats. not sure how effective they are but it beats not having them:

I did, but I would have to find them. Nothing much to see, just comparison pics. The two different controls and the two different firewall boxes. It's bolt in, nothing to it.

No I mean I like the light but sometimes you don't want it to come on when you open the door... I could prolly put a switch in the power wire to the dome so if the switch is off it won't come on but if I need it I can turn it on.

My light doesn't come on with the door. If I need light I turn it on.

My trucks the opposite. Doesn't turn on with the switch but does when opening the door.
My dash lights don't work either!
Gotta love the 87-91 wiring! Lol
