Default Adding performance parts

I have a 92 Flareside with a 302 and automatic trans i have already replaced the motor with one out of a stang so its now the high output motor. i also put dynomax cat back and bigger leafs along with 32's. i am looking to put a hypertech chip in and take out the 3.55's to swap for a set of 4.10's and a k&n intake as well. the chip is said to do up to 16 hp and the K&N says a 9.33 hp increase. Im just looking to find out if anyone thinks this will give me a noticable increase in acceleration and tourque. if anyone has anyother ideas for upgrades for less then seven hundred or a grand let me know. I'm a new user so email me at jackjaw728@comcast.net or message me on here whatever is easier. Thanks guys
Matt.

well i threw an msd ignition on good wires and bumped my timing to about sixteen and i'm running premium fuel with no ping and NO noticeable diff. I'm not sure if i missed a step or what but i got bosch double plats in there now that only have ten thousand or so on them. Do i need to get diff plugs or gap them any diff or anything? Thanks again for your help guys.

obviously i have a new cap and rotor though. I just read yemskis thought on all of this and i will try the thicker guaged wires and seeing if i have any vacuum leaks and if so fix them. I will also be regapping my old plugs that aren't plats but in good shape still to .055 and maybe even try side gapping. I already sea foamed everything a few weeks ago too.

stick with 87 octane! the whole reason you do the ignition upgrade is so that you get as close as possible to ping on the fuel that the engine was designed to run best on.

Use stock Nic plated Copper cores & stick to 87 octane. The high octanes are like heroin to stock compression engines. After a while, they wont run without it. A 180F thermostat would help.https://www.f150forum.com/f10/about-...ng-bump-53159/ & https://www.f150forum.com/f10/timing...ap-info-44854/

put on my brand new K&n kit today made the old girl sound good with the dynomax exhaust. It also made a very noticeable diff towards top end power.

if you want performance, get underdrive pulleys.
