No 94 isn't OBD II, 96 and up is

the sensor just tells the PCM the ambient air temp coming into the engine combined with other temp sensors to determine colds starts and adjust fuel trim.

Thats what i thought that mine was obdI until somome said that sesor was fro obdII

wonder why some have it and some dont, my 97 OBDI MAP f250 dont have it. it must be a MAF thing lol.

I honestly haven't looked or noticed the locations of the intake sensor between generations, but the MAF ones I've seen have been in the air box, and others have been on the intake manifolds.
