96 Regency Conversion help finding value please
Hello, I have a question and I hope I'm in the right place. I have a 96 F150 ext cab Regency Conversion with custom red to black fade paint job with matching camper shell, aftermarket leather, wood dash and console with mood lights in doors and ceiling. I have to sell it (growing family) and am having trouble trying to find out how much to sell it for because I can't plug in any of these things into a KBB type website. It has a V8 2WD and all original 56K miles. Could anyone help me figure out how much something this "rare?" would be worth and the best way to sell it to someone who appreciates this truck the way we have. We inherited it and it has been garaged it's whole life. Thanks!
A picture or two would help. It all depends on how bad the person looking for a truck like you have wants it. If it is pretty much in perfect condition it could sell for $10,000 all the way down to $2,500
None of those mods change the value significantly. It's still a 22-year-old low-mileage F150; the most-common pickup in the world. If it's clean & well-maintained, THAT increases its value. But it still comes down to how much you & the buyer agree it's worth, like anything else. If you're desperate, and he plans to haul manure with it, it'll sell cheap. If you can afford to wait, and he really wants a customized truck, it'll sell high.
I just posted some pics for a better idea for pricing, thanks for your help!

As the others are saying, it is nice, so as an F150 with low miles, should bring a decent price. For myself, the Regency stuff subtracts rather than adds value, I do love the seats, but the wood just seems out of place, and the fender flares I would be happier without, and I despise tube grilles. If I were the buyer, it would be in spite of the mods, not because of them, but the next guy it could be love at first sight.

I agree - I'm not a fan of wood glued all over a plastic interior (or wood-look decals). And I hate leather. I might be able to live with the running boards if they're attached well, but none of those are selling points for me. I like that it's a clean low-mileage (apparently) well-maintained '96 2WD F150 X-cab longbed, but that's worth ~$3500 to me.
I agree, $10,000 from someone who is looking for one like that. Maybe a childhood memory, something like that. I wouldn't go lower than $5,000. If it was a 4X4 you could have added a couple thousand to the price
It is a beautiful truck. I ran a Carfax on my 1991 4X4 with 59,000 miles, just for fun. It came back with "add $940 to the average going price because of the condition and miles". It didn't have a selling price to ask for but this is the first Carfax I've ever seen or read that said to add $$$ to the price your selling it for
. I would run a Carfax and see if it tells you to add value to your truck. Print it out so you can show it to who ever might be looking to buy it
