So I can get a hold of a 95 Lightning for 3,000 bucks only catch is it needs a shift fork which apparently cost 500 big ones alone. So I was wondering if this shift fork is toast what else could be? What would be the most cost effective way at going at this problem if I get the truck.

 

Which tranny does it have?

 

Can't be the original trans as all Lightnings came E40D.
