What are y'alls best engine mods for a 93 f150 302? It a dd/mud truck. Looking for hp, torque, and acceleration.

EDIT: you would want to look into doing a MAF conversion depending on what you are doing.

Timing bump/ignition upgrade, drop in air filter(I use k&n personally), seafoam treatment. Not a lot you can do unless you have a MAF system.

 

What exactly is a MAS system? And how do I know if my truck has it?

 

MAF and MAP. Mass Air Flow and Manifold Absolute Pressure. Two types of intake systems. MAF is more forgiving with upgrades and tuning, MAP has to maintain a certain pressure in the manifold and is real finicky and limited on what you can do with it. MAF is definitely what you want. If you have a sensor in the tubing between your air filter and throttle body its MAF, if you don't its MAP. that's how I tell anyway

 

'93 doesn't have MAF.

 

Its always possible a previous owner did the conversion already.
