Default '92 wiper fix

I sent a '92 F-150 to Honduras several years ago. It's a two wheel drive, 6 cyl with automatic. Recently the wipers quit working. Because of the translation from Spanish to English I thought that they needed the operator on the steering column. Not so. All I can get out of them is that they need a 'parta electronico'. Evidently they need some type of motor controller which is either in the engine room or somewhere else. One fellow told me that the wiper motor contoller is attached to the motor. Of course, I know nothing about it. I've already paid way too much for the part I bought and sent to Honduras thanks to NAPA. I need for someone to give me a rundown on what other parts I can buy to fix it and where I can get it at a reasonable price. Thanks ahead of time.

It could be the switch your talking about or it could be the fuses, or the electric motor under the crowl in the engine bay. its on the firewall.

Boogerburns:By switch do you mean the operator arm in the steering column or is there another switch?

Read this thread, it talks of the control module for the wipers.

If they do the control module repair you won't have to send anything.
