Default transmission help.

i have a 92 150 4x4 with aod. the aod stopped pulling in rev when the engine would come to temp. as long as it was cold it pulled fine. i finally got around to rebuilding it and found that nearly all rev cluthes were gone. replaced all clutches and bands forward and rev started it up got the fluid pumped through it and rev was started pulling but was weak. it got a little stronger then it came up to temp and boom no rev. whats the issue? is there a cable that needs adjusted or a hose that is causing the issue? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a rebuilt AOD. But I didn't do it myself. Honestly would have recommended taking it to a shop. But that's my opinion. And they are really picky about how much fluid is in them. Also, after getting mine rebuilt it was a little funny, but I broke it in and it was all good. Still good to this day, did a fluid change and filter change and its still going great!

When you rebuilt it did you clean the valve body and all the lines and drain the converter if you didn't you will need to redo all your work and do it right this time. It sounds like the clutches wore out and you changed the clutches without cleaning out the valve body from any clutch material that was left over from the old clutches.
