Default 87 stereo install

I have a 7inch flip up head unit and I was wondering is there a dash kit that will allow it to be able to operate or how would be a good way to make it fit in the dash? Spacers? It's a high dollar head unit and I really wanna use it.

You don't need any kit for single DIN radios.

So I just take the factory radio out and put the new one it? I know how to wire it. So I don't need a dash kit or wiring kit?

You need the plug if you don't want to hack up the harness.

Your local Walmart has the stereo wiring harness for our trucks.

If you’re looking to retain the steering wheel controls and have access to the trucks data on the screen, the iDatalink Maestro is the way to go and they have a wiring harness that ties it all together nicely. There is also the option to retain the upper center digital screen and display information about what’s playing on the radio.
