Default 5.0 EFI Throttle body size

Are any of the factory Throttle bodies larger than the 5.0 version? But still bolt onto the 5.0 factory EFI intake? I have a Explorer type intake I could use for my MAF conversion, but I've always thought the truck intake had bigger runners/ ports. Is the 351W or 460 TB larger?

Are you talking about a single or twin?

I don't know of any stock twin bores that are any larger, but BBK does make, I believe a 62mm twin bore for our trucks.

i have a stoked 5.0....352 c.i. The twin 56 stock body flows plenty. Put money in good aluminum heads. The throttle body is not the restriction. Heads and exhaust.

Think about it....56x2=112MM ?? Most high output mustang 5.0's run anywhere from 70 to 90mm throttle bodies and can put out over 500 h.p. Stroked.

Dude, you kiddin' me?

Don't think so......doing the math 25.4mm = 1 inch....each throttle body would barely be over an inch.

Mine are twice that size....about 2 3/16 inch for each bore. 1 inch would be TINY.
