The truck "twin" 56mm as in both are 56mm were sized to flow the very large, long runner truck intakes. My 56 stock throttle body is supporting approximately 350-360 HP with no flow issues. Great throttle response and stock 74mm maf is supporting as well, although it is close to pegging. Anything above the intake valves is not a restrictive issue on the trucks until you start cracking into the 400's and then the maf would be the first to need an upgrade.

i did say earlier I couldn't recall for certain, but now it does strike a bell they were twin 51's and you can get twin 56's or 61's from bbk. .....but seriously, they are not needed until 400 HP. The MAF would then need to be upgrade as it would peg voltage. 74mm maf is good to 360-370 hp.

I put together this spreadsheet for everyone to see the capabilties of each size throttle body, and why you would want to spend money elsewhere if you were under the supported hp numbers. I'll probably put this in its own thread also for others to enjoy.
