Default 33 code help

My 91 f250 5.8l is getting codes 33 and 133 I believe. I saw 33 is a egr valve not opening but I can't find code 133? Either way how hard is it for a get valve to be replaced or fixed? And can it be done with simple hand tools?

From what I've read you either have 2 or 3 digit codes, not both. You sure the code 33 wasn't a code 111 twice? I've noticed mine (94 XLT) will read codes off twice.

Ok that worked. So the only code shown there is 111 which is the code you WANT. It means "system pass", thats a good thing. Now you'll need to read the codes with the engine on and see whats shown there.

For code 564 (for example) the CEL will blink 5 times pretty fast for the number 5, think like an 8 count in music. Just for future reference

Engine running test.

116- engine coolant sensor out of range- ECT

311- air system not working, single, right, or rear HO2S - air injection

332- EGR did not open/ respond during test or if memory code, did not open intermittently- EVR or PFE

632- E4OD- transmission control switch should be cycled once between engine ID and Goose test

So are these things that might work again with some good old cleaning or would I need to buy a new ones? And the 632 code, I have no idea what it means so can someone explain it to me? Thank you

The first thing I would recommend is retesting the system. If the previous posts are correct ( I didn't check the video) then you don't have any errors in memory. They would make it rather unlikely to have an egr error when you do a koer test (key on engine running). The EGR and the HO2S (heated O2 sensor) must be warmed up to running temp before they will work. Being cold would also put the ECT out of range. Finally code 623 means you didn't push the overdrive on/off button when you did the test. I am assuming that the engine wasn't fully warmed up when you did the test. I recommend driving the truck normally then running the test when the engine is hot. If you still get these codes you may need a new ECT sensor O2 sensor or have a problem with hoses or wiring. We can go through the diagnostic for those things. None of it is too hard to fix. Post your new results.
