Got to thinking a little bit about what the doctor said. I have a 95 302 MAF. The OEM system is set up for Air to enter the system just below the hood and above the grill at the inlet pipe. This has always seemed a little restrictive. Went to the wrecking yard and picked up an inlet tube, where the air will come in behind the grill. Cut the curved end off of it. I assume this was for Watersplash protection. Zip tied the plastic splash shield for the headlights back, seems like there'll have a little better shot of getting air straight to the inlet.

Ran another WOT test. First gear to second gear 5600 RPMs. It was just above 5000 before the mod. Might be placebo effect, but the power seems a little smoother. Sure would be nice if the MPG's also came up a bit!!!
