Default 300 inline cam

What's the stock lift and duration of the cam?

I've been pondering on a comp cam from summit with .433 lift and 252 duration on summits site. It comes with hydraulic lifters also. Just looking for a bit more power. Nothing much but just some to get loads hauled better.

Must be lobe lift specs.

Fordtrucknut posted this a year or so ago

Just multiply lobe lift by rocker arm ratio to figure lift at the valve,
and in case of solid lifter cams subtract valve lash.

So kid, why'd ya wanna know?

Yes it was the lobe specs, I got mainly the tolerance, clearance and torque specs for the engine on a spreadsheet. Never know when you will need them

I want a bit more power for towing and was looking at cams and found a comp with .433 lift and 252 duration. But from stock it seems like its almost double the lift.

If you multiply the. 249 lift by 1.5 you get a valve lift of .373 for the stock cam.

How would I get more torque out of it? I just need more pulling power for fairly cheap.
