I have 3:55 in it what size would give me more? 3:73? 4:10?

Timing bump, exhaust work, ignition upgrade and synthetic oils are basically the easiest things you could do for more pulling power, that and better clutch. I don't tow much, but when I do its a noticeable difference.

That or you could re-gear it but I think 3.55 should be enough.

I've done all those mods and I can tell you that the truck is totally different than the day i got it... it was a sluggish turd with no throttle response...

it's still a turd but albeit with alot more throttle response... those mods do help tremendously.... I have 3.08 gears and the truck runs very well... but for pulling a trailer I;d want 3.73 gears minimum on the stock 275 tires...if you run 33 inch tires then you're gonna need 4.10 or 4.56 gears...

When i had my 4x4 I had 38 inch tires and I ran a 4.88 gears front and back with lockers and it was a pulling powerhouse

Exhaust is done and I had planned on getting a better system with better coil and copper core wires. How do I do a timing bump never done it before.
