Default Sticky Please!!!

Can we please make one of the 15 threads on here for whistle when cold in to a sticky? It seems everyone who has ever had this problem puts basicly the same post and it ends up to be the alternator. Lets save us all some time and make this a sticky.

Please clarify the issue you are talking about and I will put up to the other mods to see about making it a sticky.

These are just the first posts I found that seem to be pertaining to the same problem. The main solution seems to be the alternator bearings. I think this is one of the "too much information" situations. Really when trying to find information, rather than reading 20 threads on whistle noise they are just starting a new thread regurgitating old information. This takes up time and space. Anyone who lives in a colder climate has had this problem. If the answer is still unclear then let's clear it up and make it a sticky. I think we have enough smart people hear to straighten this out.
