Default HID Help

I want to install some 8000k HIDs on my truck but am a little worried about the install. Does anyone know if it is any easy install or is wiring the new bulbs hard? Any pics or instructions are appreciated.

mine were 6000K and the were really simple to install. its just plug and play, they make them so you cant connect the wires wrong. ha and true the mounting of the ballasts is the hardest. just a word of advice... actual mount them with the bolts because i have some friends that just ziptied them to some wires and there lights are sometimes not working. ha good luck

It should be a very easy install. As stated above the ballast placement is usually the hardest thing. If you do not off road you have more options where to put them. Try and keep them up and away from street muck etc.

Both are too blue for my tastes, but I guess 8000k will get you the best visibility if look is most of what you are going for.
