Default Whistling problem

Hey guys, need some help.
I recently put a aem brute force intake on my 04 lariat. I noticed that when i'm crusing at around 100 kph that i get an anoying whistle, but if i give it gas it goes away. I also get a whistle when it is very cold outside and i accelerate the truck. Can you please let me know if there is anything i can do to fix this or if maybe it is something else on the truck. Somebody told me that perhaps my windshield is not %100 sealed, but i have my doubts about that.
Thank you in advance

I'm pretty sure that whistle is normal with those intakes.

i don't think it is. It's a very high pitch, sharp whistle. Is there any ideas or ways that someone knows to find out where the whistle is coming from exactly

Put your stock intake back on to see if it's in the intake or something else with your truck.

That will see what it really is.

I would have to agree about it being normal w/ an aftermarket intake tho, but swapping it with the stocker will see what the truth is.

You might find something that will help it but never fix it completely.

Is the sharp whistle at a given RPM? I've just gone thru my whistle issue, consistantly at 1500RPM, was told by the dealer it's the alternator rear bearing and that it's "common" in the cold (Minnesota)...the 2nd one did it too, so I'm now waiting for arrival of the 3rd (under warranty)...drives me crazy; hope it's not something to live with. Anyone else with this noise? Keith

I'll have to pay attension, but that sounds like it might be a possibility. Thanks for the reply

im not sure with the new engines, but on the older motors, in order to get the intake to fit properly, you are suposed to remove a "air chamber" and replace it with a length of hose.

that was the problem with my truck, and once it was fixed, it made that "horn" noise go away compleatly.
