so I've read through this thread a couple of times has anybody actually compiled a compressed list of items needed to do this upgrade other than the obvious screen bezel apim attached to the screen situation? Everything is scattered throughout this thread I feel like it would help some people out if there was an actual basic list of this somehow someway... Or maybe I'm just being extra lazy LOL just a thought thanks for all the info guys really has helped still holding out to find some decent deals on everything that I need to do my upgrade
I have the same harness problem. The USB hub I acquired has 12 pins. The harness connector is 8 pin with 7 leads.
I contacted the harness guy about this and he said the grey connector was for Mustang. So I'm thinking if I can find a Mustang USB Hub that will solve the problem.
Problem is...I can't find a part number for it. If anybody could help find it, it would be greatly appreciated!
I found something that might be close. But when I look up the part number, I get foreign sites. Is it possible the number is a different part number for US?
That grey connection is for the MFT Media Hub which you just posted a picture of. It is not carplay compliant.
I contacted Jesse again last night and he found some of the correct extensions and is selling me one on Monday so I should be set now. Glad that search is over.

If you don't mind me asking how much is one of those harnesses as the wpt1239 is about 30$ its self?
