I traded a couple of months ago and being function over form gave my local dealer a list of must have options and 2 colors to exclude then left it to him to find me a truck (will be 70 next year and we fixed income seniors tend to be a bit frugal). He did but asked me to consider one that was on his lot before closing the deal. This was a '17 super crew with STX and XL sport packages. The deal he offered me was good enough that I bought it. Has a lot of features that I thought I would never buy but have grown fond of several of them. The back-up camera is great, trailer assist keeps me from using the vocabulary I picked up during my 21 year Navy career and being able to put my phone GPS on the big screen is great. Not too crazy about the 20" wheels but so far they have kept the undercarriage off of the ground. All in it is a tremendous upgrade over the '16 XL 101a RCSB traded.

Biggest thing I miss coming from my FX2? No power adjustable driver seat.
Mine came with the optional carpet, the vinyl floor just looks cheap to me so i'm glad it has the carpet.Mine also came with the Max Tow Package and the other things that your truck has!!!

For 2018 STX I don't think the power rear slider is available like it was on the 2017. I had been shopping for a 2018 and was disappointed to see that.

Looks like that's the case. They've also removed it from many packages on the XLT and made it part of the XLT Power Equipment Group or as a standalone option on the 301a and 302a trucks.

Bought mine last month after months of research/looking for the right deal. My must-haves were the color matched bumpers, center console, and 8” screen. Mine also came with running boards, backup camera, e-lock rear diff, Class IV hitch, and carpet. The only thing I really wish it had was an integrated garage door opener.

I got a 2017 STX 4x4 2.7 Ecoboost back in August and I have not looked back. This is one of the best packeges Ford makes on the F150. When looking for my new truck I wanted column shifter, 4x4, sync 3 and back up camera. The STX checked all those off for me. I added in a 12v solutions remote starter and this truck is perfect for daily driving and road trips down to Virginia (5 hours)

I also noticed a lot of de-contenting of the 2018s. A few things that were in my 2016 302a package is either a stand alone option, added to another package or no longer available. For example the driver's auto dimming side mirror came in the XLT 302a package but now you have to get a Lariat or higher to get it in a 2018.
