Hey. I installed adaptive cruise control in my 2015 Lariat. I've got a friend who has a 2012 Lincoln MKX. His CCM module/sensor failed. When installing a used replacement, I got a software incompatibility error. Dealer says the replacement is VIN locked. Do you know of, or can you point me to anyone who could help solve this problem. A new CCM from the dealer is $3000.

No I have a 21xlt with the 8” digital I guess they call it. Speedo and tach are analog. Guess I’m out of luck. Thanks for the help though.

hey bud new to the fourm. i used your forscan spread sheet i can't get the trans/engine temp to display numbers on mine with the ones you have on the sheet. i have a XLT with the 8inch digital. Any ideas?

Im guessing FDRS writes the vin to GWM during configuration. I am able to Change the vin but would be nice to do it quickly. Would you share just a portion of GWM? Looking at 716-27-01 and -02?

I am also looking into what it might take to activate Phone As Key in F150 and possibly others. Any insight there?

Hello sir and thank you for constantly sharing your vast knowledge on the asuilts. Would you happen to have any sort of update on the new GWM data set? I have figured out some of it, but could definitely use any help. Im specifically looking for how/where they are storing the vin. Is this asbuilts or is it written by FDRS in a different manner? I have noticed just recently on the bench that fdrs now reads that vin whereas I never saw that in the past.

Hello, Thank you for your extensive listing of tweaks that can be made using ForScan. I recently purchased a 2016 XLT with SYNC 3 and v 3.0 software on a newly replaced APIM. AppLink doesn't function and the fine folks in the Ford SYNC department said that my truck was built without AppLink and they have no way to enable it, even though the system has the Apps icon. Is there a way to turn AppLink on through ForScan? I tried "MA Enable" under APIM SYNC 1, 7D0-01-01 in the As Built module but it had no effect. Any help or insight is appreciated, Jim Hogan

Sorry I didn't see your response until now but the forum doesn't send me notifications of new conversations versus personal messages. If you reverted any changes you made to the IPC & BCM and cleared any DTCs then I don't know why everything wouldn't return to normal functions. What is your VIN so I can pull your factory programming? Also, send me some screenshots of your current IPC values from FORScan. How do you normally trigger the lane centering screen with distance? - from steering wheel buttons? I originally thought you have an F150 but from the pictures you sent me it looks like you have some other model.

Basically, i need help to get this back, On a short drive today, pre-collision with the red bar went off, Active Cruise controls work, but no distance indication. please help!

Hello Livnitup, I am in need to help and it appears that you are a guru. New to forscan, I initially change some simple things like lincoln style folding mirrors and whatnot. After adding the water temp and trans temp, my pre-collision warning on and off pops up but I am unable to select it on or off. My front collision detection doesn't show up anymore on my dash so I figured I jacked something up. I've since gone through and changed everything back to as built. now added to my problems, I'm limited to 80 mph as well. please advise. Thank you in advance.
