Have a 1986 f150 4x4 automatic. Got the steering column apart to put new turn signal switch in. Did not know that I was supposed to take the wires out of the plug, feed them through. Took the 3 screws with the anchor looking "brackets"on them from the back of the steering column. It won't go back together. Any hints? Deeply appreciated. Shifter and ignition switch is out.
