It is located on the passenger side firewall inside the engine compartment. The accumulator is next to it.

Thank you I appreciate the help on that ... Do you know what would cause the low pressure switch to not work? I have jumped the wire and the compressor kicks on and checked with gauges many times it's full of free-on and when I jump the wires it blows 35-40 degrees (nice and cold) and replaced the switch I'm stumped !

Is the system properly charged? I had an issue similar to that in my 07. Replaced the switch and it didn't help. Ended up being a leak at the low pressure Schraeder valve. Replaced that and got it professionally recharged and has been blowing strong since then. Cost quite a bit in buying the R-134a for mine. Had a shop put dye in the system to find the leak

Yes it is we put die in mine as well and found a leak at the low pressure connector and basically tightened it and now there's no leak and I put the gauges on it every day for the last month when I get home and always reads the same so there's no leak just can't get the low pressure switch to work at all and I'm going to replace the evaporator because it's the only thing I haven't replaced yet do you think it will have any effect on my problem?

Hmmmmm... I know we recharged mine to pressure and still wasn't working so we took it to the shop and they said there was a lot of air in the system so the evacuated the system and recharged it.

Turns out the ground strap on the passenger side ,that bolts to the support bar for the head, was loose. I had to replace the manifold, and when I tightened it all back up the ac works and blows cold as hell gotta love the r12 system
