Default PiP sensor help!

So I called my local parts store, not knowing what a PIP sensor is, they said its the pick up coil. How do I replace this?

Easiest way? Replace the whole distributor. The PIP sensor is located inside the distributor and has to be pressed off/on. You would need a special tool to do it or have a shop do it.

Well that sucks lol. What about a three tooth flywheel puller? Would that work?

Never done it myself. When mine went bad I found a replacement distributor from a junkyard for $40. Solved my problems.

It's really hard to get it apart and back together again. Especially hard to line up the gear properly. But it's not highly technical.
