Default Heater Blow Motor

New heater blower motor and fan work ok but, seems the directional lever; i.e.: vent, floor, defrost, defrost/floor; doesn't work too well.

How is this item adjusted? If I ice my windshield, I would like all the hot air aimed at it.

Any advice regarding the air directional flapper?

If its a 9th gen truck, the vents are vacuum operated, either you have a vacuum leak preventing the actuator pod from working fully or its broken. You can see the pod move under the dash as you turn the **** and hear a hissing noise.

If its a previous generation the vents are cable operated and they are either broken or door/cable binding.

Thanks. It's a '90 F-150 reg cab. I'll have to look for the cable to adjust and/or lube.

Huh could have sworn they were still cable operated cab vents, but the outside recirculation door was vacuum controlled.
