Headlight work, tail lights work but not at the same time?

Headlight work, tail lights work but not at the same time?
I can get my gauge lights and tail lights to work but not at the same time with headlights on. If the headlights are on I've got no tail lights or gauge lights. I've changed my headlight switch and nothing changed. Any ideas as to what's going on?
