Default Headlight replacement/upgrade.

The headlights on my 92 F150 are looking pretty poor and the truck will be going to paint here in a few weeks. I can't have a fresh paint job with old yellowed lights. Have any of you done an HID swap with any of the kits from EBay? I don't mind the style of several that are sold but I've known too many people who've bought headlights on ebay and had issues with housing not being sealed properly.

I'm looking for suggestions here.

get on rockauto.com, you can get brand new factory replacement housings for less than 20 bucks each. i've had mine in for 3 years, no leaks or fading yet. still put out nice bright white light.

if you want HIDs get projectors, or atleast take the time to aim your lights if you go with factory. i bought HIDs from Jon_to on the forum here and aside from a little warranty work about 7 months in, iv had no issues.

I would do what he said with the projectors. I know here in Texas its illegal to have HIDS unless the projectors. I am sure other states are probably going to have the same law unless the already have it. Just trying to stay ahead of the curve.
