Default Fusable link

I just replaced the alternator on my 93 4.9 and had to jump it since I killed the battery and when I did the wire that runs from alternator or the starter relay fried more specifically the fusable link wire fried but I can't find a replacement fore it but I was told I could use a fuse in wire but I'm not sure what amp fuse to get

Parts stores have fusible links right on the shelf.

Well, they're not exactly in amperage ratings. It looks like its a 14 gauge green.

It was a 12 gage wire and couldn't find it at any parts store but I got it figured out I got the biggest one they had which was 14 gage and so far it's working I tested it for about 30 min last night and no problems and this morning it ran like a champ

If you look at the diagram, the fuze link is labled as 14 gauge green like I said in the other post, I didnt say anything about wire size.
