Hey guys. Ok, 93 f150 with a 5.0L. I just went out and converted it over to r134a from R12. Got it into the acceptable pressure range the gauge said for the outside temp. (85 degrees). Motor was warm as well. After finishing I watched and waited and the compressor never kicked off. If i turned off the A/C it would kick off still, but on norm, or max ac it just stayed on. Air is good and cold but the compressor worries me a little. Why would it just stay on after this??? thanks

 

Its working like it should, don't worry about it.

 

Shouldn't the air compressor kick on and off periodically?
