I had an F250 extended cab years ago. Fill bench in back. I built a console box that sat on the seat, went down to the floor and under the seat somewhat... I basically built it around the seat. Had an up-firing small enclosure 10 firing against a "loading board" which I padded and covered with vinyl. It served as a center armrest for the occasional rear passenger.
