is this part removeable? i took this picture off google. i want to put a switch for a set of lights there

Yeah, It comes out with that whole gauge bezel....I think if i remember correctly... That is the same one in my F250... And i think thats where the "Wait to start" light is..

It shouldn't be hard to do. Never done that piece on this model but on chevs it takes about oh 5 minutes.

No it wont come off by itself.... But... All you have to do to get to it is pull on that whole bezel... You can have it out in 30 seconds or less... Alot of people put the switches there.

DO NOT JUST YANK ON THE BEZEL!!!!!

there are screws that hold it on, they are hidden behind the little silver strips on each side of the steering wheel.

Find a bezel off a gen 1 Lightning. On Gen 1 Lightning's the factory goog light switch is in the EXACT location you are wanting to mount your switch. See the pic on the website below
