yeah that is true. I just thought of something I might be tackling this weekend. I might cut out the XL in my dash trim and adding a piece of lexan and a Led bulb behind it to the dash lights. just for a little touch of light over there.
I dont think i will be cutting up my truck anytime soon though. I dont have a garage so my luck it would rain once i remove the window lol

yeah, my current one on my dash is broken already so might as well see what i can do 
Im sure adding some led strip lights behind the trim alone would make it pop more too giving it the glow effect.
then again I'm not much for extra lighting however ive seen some of those led etched glass displays and thought it would be cool to add one if I could ever get my hands on a sand blaster. just tossing ideas out there. Seems like a good thread to do so.
I alredy painted my trip and door panels red to bring the red inside. I was tired of the gray and black.

I realize that with the bigfoot rear window that you don't need a sunroof, but that's about all that's left to do on your truck! Lol. That thing is sweet! I've got a single cab stick shift and have in dash aftermarket mini tach and oil pressure, in dash dual usb chargers, a third 12v outlet and a couple of ham radios along with a lighted mirror from a 'stang. The two ham radios get traded out tomorrow for one listen/talk anywhere radio with a remote head unit and the actual radio behind the seat so I can clean things up some. Everything else is factory in the cab, well, factory made such as my sliding rear window that I bought for $16. I want to paint or bed line the truck as the body is 99% straight with zero rust and that's higher up on the list than electric windows and door locks, maybe.........if I look at one more pic of your truck, I might hit the salvage yard tomorrow. I did a 4 way dome light in my former '94 xcab from an aerostar van (I think). Salvage yard find. I just want a dome light that I can turn off with the doors open. I love the mods without overkill. More factory Caddy than Autozone Caddy if you know what I mean. I think you were Eddy Bower Edition before Eddie Bower was cool. Lol

Ever look into that EL light stuff? It may give you the glow you want.
