Would love to see the progress you have made on the sound deadening. Also...how are you doing it? Lol I have no idea where to begin but would love to do this to my 95 F150.

And I've only seen two posts about the radio controls working - one says they work and the other says they don't lol.
Does that mean if I found a wheel without the audio controls, but just with the lighted cruise buttons, it would work and have no extra unusable buttons?
Also, are the 04-08 switches basically plug and play, after moving them to the switch plate of the 92-96?

Sorry so many questions, just trying to clear things up. I'm a teacher/coach so summers are my time to decompress with my hobbies - currently helping my dad with his '94 and he's always mentioned wanting steering wheel controls that light up.

It's easier to swap a whole column than just a wheel. Read this caption, and follow the string of links in the captions:

(phone app link)

The radio buttons will work with the correct aftermarket module for the radio you choose - not a factory '94 truck radio.

IDK what you mean about moving switches.

Thanks!

And sorry, I switched to talking about the 04-08 lighted window/lock switches that are mounted in the 92-96 door switch "plate" like in the last two pics I attached on that previous post.

No, the older trucks aren't wired for lighted door switches, and the switch bezel isn't big enough to house them, either.

Well I've redone my seats in my 97 supercab with vinyl leather. Got the material from yourautotrim.com. Also got my headliner material from them. If anybody orders from them use code JOHN10 at checkout for 10% off

I was just trying to clarify what he meant by this, if anyone knows. I read 04-08 switches mated to OBS switch, but was thinking OBS switch plate I guess. I'd love to mess around with this, but I'm guessing it was probably pretty involved to get this done.
