Default Headliner

I've decided to redo my headliner. Just reupholstering the stock one. I have a 94 standard cab. Was wondering if anyone knew the exact dimensions of it, how much fabric id need. What type of fabric is best. What adhesive is best. And if anyone has done this before

Thanks guys.

Well there is always 3M industrial hi strength 90 adhesive spray. Spray the **** out of it with that and it will never come off.

Can't you just order a new headliner from a OEM Ford website? I found their prices to be much better that the parts counter at a dealership. Unless your stuck on the DIY method.

I'm wondering if contact cement would work better than spray adhesive. That way it's thin, even coverage and instant adhesion to keep out wrinkles.

I've never done this before. So it's gonna be a little rough lol. But I'll post pics.

And I have no idea about contact cement.

Contact cement is applied with a brush, or more commonly, a roller. Its kinda the consistency of the "rubber cement" you may have used in school with the cotton ball applicator in the cap. You apply it to both surfaces and let each surface dry before sticking them together. Once dry to the touch, it's an instant bond that would help you in your case because you would not have to hold it or clamp it while the any other adhesive is setting. You could slowly stretch the fabric on without it slipping around or worrying about glue soaking through the finished side.

I'm more worried about me screwing up and not being able to take it off
