Default Head Rest Tube Removal

I have a 1994 (9th Gen) F-150 and just replaced the seat with one from a salvage yard (It cleaned up nicely with a steam cleaner). The tubes that hold the head rests in place are broken on the 'new' seat but still work as intended on the 'old' seat. Can anyone tell me how to remove those tubes? I'd like to install them in the new seat. Thanks.

The safest way is to peel up the upholstery (or cut it, if it's already ruined), squeeze the tips of the tubes, and PUSH them UPward out of the chair back. If you pull from the top, they almost always break, so don't. AFAIK, replacements are NOT available anywhere but the JY. That's why I collect them to sell:
