I'm having a problem with my driver side door opening from the inside. When I want to open it I have to roll my window down and open it from the outside. What is the most simple way to fix it?

 

Take your inside door panel off and see what's broken. Cable may be stretched, bolts that hold the handle may have ripped out of the door itself, clip may be broken. Won't know until you look.

 

A common issue is the handle mount cracks, the piece of the door that the handle mounts to is what I'm referring to. Not sure if it's your problem but many have had to remove the handle then tack a piece of metal to the door to strengthen the mount.

 

Update: the cable was broken from the inside. I got a new one from a junk door someone had. I will install it tomorrow and tell you how it goes if anyone still gives a crap

I got that I was asking if there was a simpler way to do it or whatever

 

After 2 days of messing with it and after having multiple people attempt to fix it I can't unlock my door so now it doesn't open at all and my window is hard to roll up. I will get back to it once I get a day off. But for now it will wait.
