I have a 93 f150 it has the tailgate that has the silver strip with the black plastic ford writin on it. I really like the older tailgates that have the bold F O R D lettering on it. Are they interchangeable? If so are all of the years?

 

Yep.
Mine is off of an 89 or 90, (can't remember which) and fits awesome.

 

80-96 are interchangeable I believe, 87-96 are for sure

 

Only '87-'96. '80-'86 are different.
