Locking gas tanks?
Afew years ago I was hot and heavy buying, fixing and reselling on C-list. Most of it was chainsaws but if the price was right i would take any thing with a small engine in it. Well most of the time it had old spunky, yellow gas in it. The mowers aways had water in them also. My local dump would dispose of it for free if it was under 5 gal. I had a old gas can with a spout but no cap on it so I sort of had to tie the can up right in the back of the truck. It sat in the back of the truck afew day as it rained. I could tell it was filling up with more water and thought I better go to the dump today. On the way to the dump I stopped in a store and was in there for abit. Came out and noticed the gas can was gone. Well I thought no more dump run so I started going home. I noticed a truck on the side of the road with the hood up and the canopy top was up and the tail gate down. There was a tool box on the tail gate and a gas can that looked like mine and two guys under the hood. I almost stopped and asked for my can back but thought he may need it to empty his tank, see how nice I was. LOL

- and YES you can get match keyed sets from STANT . I actaully got 3 matching - 1 for my 91 F150 and also for my 93 Lincoln town car they all took the same cap (Stant 10501)
After a bit of searching I discovered you can use "17" instead of "10" for the first two numbers and they are matching keyed locks.
I believe your 96 takes the same cap so try Rock Auto:
