Default Light bar thoughts?!

Thinking about putting a 50in led light bar on the roof of my truck. It is a single cab short bed 93 f150. What do yall think? is it too much? i like the idea of having the extra lighting ability but i dont want it to look bad. Any of yall have one or seen one?

Too much! I saw a 20" Rigid Industries last night. Guy had it on the bumper of his Dodge 4x4 and I couldn't tell you much else about the truck. It was ridiculous! Brightest damn light I've ever seen next to the search lights we used back in the day for Disaster scenes on the fire department. They were powered by a 15kw generator!

Im not talking about being to much as far as light out put, but more on the fact of the looks and style of the truck. Look at my profile and let me know if you think it would look good on the truck.

Honestly, I think you should go for functionality. I would spend the money and get the cool look with the cool function and use.

Allot of people will tell you to go for the high dollar Rigid Industries. The same people that told me to run two years ago from the Harbor Freight 6" Off Road Lights. I use the hell out of them and have yet to have a bulb burn out or any sort of problem. $10 each! Lot's of choices. If I was going for a full size bar, I'd probably bet my money on the Rigids. For the smaller lights, there are allot of good ones out there. Rigid doesn't own the patent on LED's.

I have a 42"led bar coming soon for my front bumper to replace the 6 55 watt halogens. More light is always better and the leds are not a big draw off your battery. I think a 52" would be big enough to span the entire top of the cab. i went with 42 for the front bumper. I dont want to drill into the cab of my truck just yet they are not cheap by far but well worth it. Ill be posting a show of thread once i get my light bar hooked up on my 94 f150 reg cab short bed

Auillary lights and Led light bars are for off road use only for a reason. you can blind other drivers and cause accidents.

Just put a 22" eBay light bar in my custom grille. Man that thing is wicked BRIGHT! Listing says 12,000 lumens; probably more like 9000, but still that's a lot! And I think I'm going to put a 54" on my headache rack.

Post some pictures of the one on top of the cab if you don't mind. I have yet to see one and wonder what it looks like
