My Sniper had the 300 I-6 and just hacked the exhaust off behind the cab and called it a day. It sounded real good that way.

I have magnaflow high flow cats. I got a good deal on them and a cat is a cat, they haven't rusted out yet though.

As far as exhaust, it's hard to make a 6 cyl sound good and if you want loud, it's going to sound real ricey. A flowmaster is your best bet, crawl under and saw your cats off if you have them and call it a day. You're never going to get a "good" sound but if you do straight pipe it, you can make it sound like a tractor at best.

Oooooo.... someone said cut off the cats!?!?!? Noooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That will cost you MPG!!! (and the environmental ramifications)
I like the high flow cat idea best. Like your beloved diesels, (I'm a big Diesel fan to BTW) the more air you move through the more power you're going to make. What to get? If it's a name you've seen before, say Flowmaster,or magnaflow, BBK, it's all good. I will also add BBK makes a lot of stuff specif to the 5.0 Mustangs. They know the five O....
