I have a 1992 F150 with door latch cable problems. I replaced the driver side cable since I could not open the door one day from the inside and I still can not open the door from the inside. I have not yet changed the passenger side cable since that one just broke at the door handle. Anyone with an idea what may be going on here? Everything moves when i put it all back together and the metal under the door handle is fine.

Sounds like the latch is screwed up. It is unlocking I presume.

 

Well I found the issue. The pin the handle mechanism rotates on is shot. Handle mechanism has a ton of play in it. Trying to find this by itself is a pain.
