I replaced a broken tailgate latch handle today and noticed the latch spring is really weak. After a good dousing with white lithium grease, it still is slow to pull the two halves together. I am wondering if anyone knows of a source for an exact match outside of the dealer parts room and short of pulling the old one and searching the spring drawer at the hardware store.
