Default Transmission won't shift out of second

I have a 1995 F150 with a 302 and a 4r70w transmission. For a while now, my transmission has acted up erratically. Every so often, it would start out in second when I put it in drive and would stay there. All I'd have to do would drop it into neutral for a moment, put it back in drive, and it would shift fine from there on out. I figured i'd start changing parts today and figured I'd try to change out the neutral safety switch. I had changed it before (hoping it would fix my reverse lights, which it didn't), but it was under warranty and pretty easy to change, so I took my lunch break and swapped them. I have awful luck with any kind of sensor, so I always change them before anything else, especially when I have them under warranty already. Anyhow, I finished it up, put it in drive and got a nasty surprise, it was worse. It's now starts in second and stays in second. I tried to put it in neutral and back into drive and it wouldn't have any of it, it stayed in second. I'm at a loss, at the very least I expected nothing to change, not get worse.

Default I'm having similar problem

Shifting between 2nd and 3rd engine revs like it in nuetral.I have to put it in neutral then back in gear and it'll shift fine into gear. Also when it shifts into overdrive after 2seconds of being in OD the RPM will rev way up like its not in gear.Once I put it in neutral then back into gear it'll shift fine and stay in OD.I just had a new computer put in it and this started a week after.I don't think that has any think to do with it.it is pulling any codes for tranny. Please help

Mine was doing something similar. Replace the psom.
It was the last thing I tried and should have been the first.

My temperature gauge was not working properly, but not sure if this was related. Basically, from what I can understand the psom is like the ***** on a ford truck. It tells everything what to do.
