Hello all. Just trying to gain a little info because finding answers elsewhere is like finding a leprechaun. I have discovered a minor leak from the seal at the very back of the transfer case (where the driveshaft goes in if I'm not saying it right, I think it's called the tailhousing). I was able to determine that I have a Borg-Warner 4406 transfer case. The replacement of said seal seems easy enough, if I can sucessfully find the correct part. I have found the fill and drain plugs on the case and wonder what fluid is used should I need to top it off.
