I am buying a parts donor truck with a 4R70W in it. Which is also what my current F150 has. I figured I'd throw the tranny on the bench and rebuild it so its ready to go if my tranny ever goes out.

Ill admit I've never rebuilt an automatic tranny myself. But I do have friends that have if I run into road blocks.

Now I'd like to know a couple reputable brands of rebuild kits. And I would like a heavier duty one so I can push more power in the future and not worry about the transmission.

How much do you want to spend? I spent $800 just in parts to make mine heavy duty.

I would suggest Monster Trans but it looks like their rebuild kits are only 98+.
